I often get this powerful urge
to create an anonymous blog somewhere on the internet where I can completely pour out every single little thing on my mind and get some unbiased perspective from people who have no idea who I am.

HTC phones are absolutely terrible.
Whatever you do, don’t buy one. I can promise you that you will regret it, very deeply.

"WHEN Is It Time to Let Go & Move On?" by Amanda...
“WHEN is the right time to let go & move on? Half past gut feeling and a quarter ‘til dead-end road? Well, in a manner of speaking.
When something or someone is no longer bringing you up, but pulling you down - it’s time to let go.
When something or someone is no longer adding to your life, but subtracting from it - it’s time to let go.
When you’re remaining in a job or a...

I need a vacation away from my own mind.
To go run around and do some cartwheels or something.

I try my best not to display my negative feelings unless I feel it is absolutely necessary. Most of the time I fail miserably. However, I’ve found that my ability to keep thoughts inside my head has slightly improved over the years. This is not the best practice, and a cluttered pile of negativity will leave you with a brain that wants nothing more than to explode in a self destructing fashion. At...

50 Things You Need To Give Up Today →
runstretchpump:
Give up trying to be perfect. – The real world doesn’t reward perfectionists, it rewards people who get things done.
Give up comparing yourself to others. – The only person you are competing against is yourself.
Give up dwelling on the past or worrying too much about the future. – Right now is the only moment guaranteed to you. Right now is life. Don’t miss it.

Insanity - Day 4
So today’s workout consisted of the recovery stretches. My thighs and feet are still incredibly stiff, so I couldn’t keep up with a lot of the stretches. I did each one at my own pace. Totally skipped the one where you’re squatting and on your tiptoes doing the leg crunching glute exercises. No way would my thighs and feet have had the strength to keep that one going. I’ve...

My mom got me all excited...
She was telling me about this week’s episode of The Middle that I missed because of class last night, and how Sue wanted to buy tickets to see Justin Bieber. She then tells me that Sue’s mom has a flashback of when she went to a David Cassidy concert when she was younger. I was so happy and couldn’t wait to see this for myself, a modern-day David Cassidy reference!!!
Then I...

Day 3... !?
My legs were in such an indescribable amount of pain that I was waking up all through the night. I could barely roll over and get comfortable in bed without wincing and groaning. Tried to stand up when I woke up and my calves were NOT having it, at all. However, once I got up and started walking around, my legs would feel a little less stiff and a little less sore. I definitely was not walking...

Thoughts after completing Day 2 of Insanity:
1) Sweat is my new best friend.
2) I feel like I have rigor mortis in my legs.
3) They don't call this Insanity for nothing.
4) You need to drink just as much water as you sweat out, if not more, during the course of the workout.
5) I really need to invest in a good sports bra, maybe even wear five at a time.
fitnessphoenixx asked: Congrats on starting Insanity! So excited for you! :)
